The Selkie Bride

My latest musical, The Selkie Bride, had its first staged reading in August of 2024 at the CAP21 studios in NYC, its first full production in September of 2024 at The Madison Theatre on Long Island, and, most recently, a concert version performed at The Green Room 42 on May 29th, 2026.

Inspired by Celtic mythology, "The Selkie Bride" follows a curious young selkie (half-seal, half-human) named Mairi who finds herself trapped on a small island after a storm. Mairi fights to find her seal skin and return to the sea where she belongs, but finds herself falling in love with the little island...and with the human man who saved her. Can this man be trusted? Can humans be good? Or will this little island cause Mairi and her kin to become selkie brides - forced to marry the human men and be stripped of their autonomy?

Liberty

In June of 2022, I had the privilege of producing the first staged reading of my original musical - Liberty. It tells the story of the first immigrants to pass through Ellis Island on January 1st, 1892.

The Thoroughbred

In October of 2021, I had the privilege of producing one of my original short film scripts with The Madison Theatre.

Synopsis:

The year is 1922 and a party on Long Island is shooting fireworks into the sky. They are celebrating the work of John Thompson, one of the most famous painters in New York. His latest masterpiece - titled The Thoroughbred - is being revealed and everyone is thrilled to see it. Everyone except for Lily - his wife - who knows the dark secrets hidden inside the colorful world of his paintings.
